We constantly look for what it is that makes some people successful and we find various characteristics such as passion, concentration, knowledge, persistence and so on; but what is the secret of success?
In 1940 during a conference, Albert EN Gray told the world what the real secret of success is. His words are the basis of the discourse of many motivational speakers today; and that is why we share it in ModoEmprendedor.
Albert was a director of an insurance company and was in charge of a large number of people. One day he understood that the success of his employees depended on his leadership.
However, he was worried that he did not know what the secret to success was. So she set out to find him and found him.
The secret of success.
The secret of success is create the habit of doing what failures do not want to do.
“It’s as true as it sounds and as simple as it sounds. You can hold them up to the light or submit them to an acidity test and you can kick them until they wear them out; but when you see through it, it’s still the secret to success whether you like it or not,” Albert said in his speech.
Success is for few because what allows us to achieve it is do things that most do not want to do.
Work hard, get out of your comfort zone, face fears, get up early, exercise… anyway.
Taking the easy path is in our nature. However, when we understand that by doing the things we don’t want to do, we get the results we want to achieve; We start off on the right foot.
How to create the habit of doing what failures do not want to do?
You will achieve success the day you do what others avoid doing Click To Tweet
Define a purpose.
The main thing is to have a definite purpose. Something that is strong enough to serve as gasoline and motivate us on those days when we don’t want to do anything.
If the purpose is strong enough, day by day we will begin to do those things that are not part of us; such as learning to get up early.
Create the habit.
To the extent that we make it part of our day to day, we will learn how to create habits.
We must always keep in mind that we cannot allow the things we do not want to do to be more important than the results we want to achieve.

You will never form a habit and stick with it unless you link it to a definite, achievable purpose from the start. In other words, for whatever purpose you have, you must work today, tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day; and so on.
And you must not only do it every day, you must maintain it every day; because if a day passes that you don’t keep it, you’ll have to start all over again.
But if you continue in the process of making and keeping daily, the day will eventually come when you rise up as a new man in a new world; And you’ll wonder what happened to the man you were and the world you used to live in.”

Be sure to choose the right purpose.
Regarding the definition of the purpose, Albert says the following: “Be careful not to make your purpose logical. Make your purpose the sentimental or emotional kind.”
Remember that needs are logical, while desires are emotional. Needs drive us but only until we satisfy them. While a purpose of something we want, it will drive us beyond our needs.
If the purpose is not selfish, you will not be selfish in achieving it. If the purpose is honest, you will be honest in achieving it.
Conclution.
It makes sense that the majority of people are behind the minority. That minority is willing to do what the majority does not do and that is the secret of success.
