{"id":258,"date":"2026-08-07T05:25:28","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T05:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/startandpower.com\/?page_id=258"},"modified":"2026-08-07T09:38:27","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T09:38:27","slug":"politica-de-uso-aceptable","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/startandpower.com\/nl\/politica-de-uso-aceptable\/","title":{"rendered":"Acceptable Use Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"section band-dark page-hero\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<p class=\"eyebrow\">Legal<\/p>\n<h1>Acceptable Use Policy<\/h1>\n<p class=\"page-hero__lead\">The rules for using the platforms, email, and infrastructure we build and manage \u2014 so every client&#8217;s services stay fast, secure, and deliverable.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"section\" id=\"aup\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"prose\">\n<p><strong>Last updated:<\/strong> 7 August 2026<\/p>\n<p>This Acceptable Use Policy (&#8220;AUP&#8221;) forms part of the <a href=\"\/nl\/terms\/\">Terms of Service<\/a> of Start And Power LLC (&#8220;startandpower&#8221;, &#8220;we&#8221;, &#8220;us&#8221;). It applies to everyone who uses our website, the platforms and email accounts we build and manage, the automations we run, and any other service we provide \u2014 including the Client&#8217;s team members and anyone the Client allows to use them. The Client is responsible for its users&#8217; compliance.<\/p>\n<p>The reason this policy exists is practical: the platforms we manage share infrastructure and sending reputation. One client&#8217;s abuse \u2014 spam, malware, illegal content \u2014 can get other clients&#8217; email blocked or sites flagged. These rules protect everyone, including you.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Illegal use<\/h3>\n<p>You may not use the services to break the law of the United States or of any jurisdiction that applies to you or your audience. This includes, without limitation: fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices; selling or distributing illegal goods or services; violating export controls or sanctions; infringing intellectual property rights; violating privacy or data protection laws; and any content involving the exploitation of minors, which we report to the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Prohibited content<\/h3>\n<p>You may not store, publish, or distribute through the managed services content that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>infringes copyright, trademarks, or other proprietary rights;<\/li>\n<li>is defamatory, harassing, or threatens or incites violence;<\/li>\n<li>is malware, spyware, or code designed to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems;<\/li>\n<li>is sexually explicit material, or promotes it;<\/li>\n<li>promotes hatred or discrimination against people or groups;<\/li>\n<li>deceptively impersonates any person or organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your business operates in a regulated or age-restricted sector (for example, alcohol, gambling, financial services, health claims), you are responsible for complying with the rules of that sector; tell us during scoping so we can build the required notices and controls into your platform.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Email and messaging rules<\/h3>\n<p>Email deliverability is shared infrastructure, so these rules are strict:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No spam.<\/strong> You may only send commercial email to recipients who have opted in or with whom you have an existing business relationship, as applicable law (such as CAN-SPAM and the GDPR\/ePrivacy rules) permits.<\/li>\n<li>Every commercial message must identify the sender truthfully and include a working unsubscribe mechanism, honored promptly.<\/li>\n<li>You may not use purchased, rented, or scraped mailing lists on the managed email or automations.<\/li>\n<li>You may not falsify headers, sender identity, or use the services to relay mail for third parties.<\/li>\n<li>Automations that send messages must respect the same rules \u2014 automation is not an exception to consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your sending causes blocklisting or reputation damage to shared infrastructure, we may isolate or suspend your sending immediately while it&#8217;s resolved (Section 6).<\/p>\n<h3>4. Security and integrity<\/h3>\n<p>You may not:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the services or any network without our written authorization;<\/li>\n<li>attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that are not yours;<\/li>\n<li>interfere with the services \u2014 including denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or deliberately overloading shared resources;<\/li>\n<li>share your administrative credentials or circumvent access controls or usage limits of your plan;<\/li>\n<li>use the services to distribute or control malware, botnets, or to mine cryptocurrency on managed infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you discover a security vulnerability in something we manage, report it to <a href=\"mailto:hello@startandpower.com\">hello@startandpower.com<\/a> and do not exploit it or disclose it publicly before we&#8217;ve had a reasonable opportunity to fix it.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Fair use of managed resources<\/h3>\n<p>Your plan covers normal business use of hosting, email, and automations at the scale described on the <a href=\"\/nl\/pricing\/\">Pricing<\/a> page and in your quote. Uses that consume resources far beyond that \u2014 for example, using the platform primarily for bulk file distribution or streaming, mass scraping, or automation volumes wildly out of proportion to your business \u2014 aren&#8217;t covered. If your usage is affecting shared performance, we&#8217;ll contact you first to find a solution, which may be an adjusted plan or scope; we only limit resources unilaterally when needed to protect other clients.<\/p>\n<h3>6. How we enforce this policy<\/h3>\n<p>Enforcement is proportionate to the problem:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Notice first, when practicable.<\/strong> For most issues, we&#8217;ll tell you what&#8217;s wrong and give you a reasonable chance to fix it \u2014 as the Terms of Service provide, 14 days for breaches that can be cured.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Immediate action, when necessary.<\/strong> Where the issue is unlawful, harms third parties, or threatens shared infrastructure \u2014 spam runs, malware, active attacks \u2014 we may suspend or isolate the affected service immediately and notify you as soon as practicable.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Removal of specific content.<\/strong> Where a specific piece of content violates this AUP or we receive a valid legal notice (such as a DMCA takedown), we may remove or disable access to that content rather than suspending the whole service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Termination.<\/strong> Serious or repeated violations may lead to termination under the Terms of Service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suspension for AUP violations doesn&#8217;t pause billing, and fees for suspended periods aren&#8217;t refunded, as set out in the <a href=\"\/nl\/refund-policy\/\">Refund &amp; Cancellation Policy<\/a>. We may preserve and disclose content and records where the law requires it.<\/p>\n<h3>7. Reporting abuse<\/h3>\n<p>If you believe a platform or email account we manage is being used in violation of this policy \u2014 including receiving spam from one \u2014 report it to <a href=\"mailto:hello@startandpower.com\">hello@startandpower.com<\/a> with the details (URLs, message headers, dates). We review every report. For copyright complaints, include the information required for a DMCA notice: identification of the work, the infringing material&#8217;s location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature.<\/p>\n<h3>8. Changes<\/h3>\n<p>We may update this AUP from time to time; the latest version appears on this page with the effective date at the top. Material changes are notified to active clients as described in the Terms of Service.<\/p>\n<h3>9.
