AI Social Poster Privacy Policy
What personal data Start And Power LLC handles when you try, buy and use the AI Social Poster extension for Plesk — and what never leaves your server.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Start And Power LLC (“startandpower”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data in connection with AI Social Poster, our extension for Plesk (the “Extension”), including the free trial, the purchase and validation of licenses, and customer support.
It complements our general Privacy Policy, which covers your visits to startandpower.com, and our Cookie Policy. Where they differ on matters specific to the Extension, this policy applies.
In short:
- The Extension runs on your own server. Your AI keys, your X connection, your campaigns and your posts are stored there, encrypted, and are never sent to us.
- We only receive what we need to sell, activate and support your license: your email address, your purchase details, your license key and a technical identifier of your server.
- We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not send you marketing unless you ask for it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Start And Power LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
Registered address: 1621 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States.
Privacy contact for the Extension: support@startandpower.com
For the data described in Section 2, we are the “data controller” under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the “business” or “controller” under US state privacy laws. For the data that stays on your server (Section 3), you, or the organization you work for, are responsible; we have no access to it.
2. Data we collect
When you buy a license:
- your email address and, if you provide them at checkout, your name, company, country and billing details needed for invoicing and taxes;
- purchase details: plan, amount, currency, date, transaction reference and payment status.
You enter your card or other payment details directly with our payment provider, Kunfupay. We never see or store your full card number.
When the Extension checks your trial or license:
- your license key and its status (trial, active, expired or cancelled), with start and end dates;
- an anonymous identifier of your server, generated by the Extension, so that each license is used on one server and each server gets one free trial;
- the technical data that any internet connection carries, such as your server’s IP address and the date and time of the check, which our license server records for security and abuse prevention.
When you contact us through the contact form or by email:
- the topic, your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your server or domain and the Extension version;
- the content of your message and anything you attach, such as screenshots or logs.
Please never send us your AI keys, your X credentials or your server passwords. We will never ask for them.
When you visit our website, such as the AI Social Poster page, we collect the technical and cookie data described in our general Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
3. Data we do NOT receive
The Extension is designed so that your content stays on your own server. We do not receive, store or have access to:
- your API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI or any other AI provider;
- your X (formerly Twitter) accounts, developer credentials or access tokens;
- your campaigns, prompts, topics, tone, hashtags, schedules and settings;
- your WordPress articles, the texts and images generated by AI, and the posts you publish;
- data about your followers or the performance of your posts.
This data is stored encrypted on your server, under your control. You can change or delete it at any time from the Extension or your server. Because we cannot access it, we cannot view, export, recover or delete it for you, so keep your own backups.
4. Data your server sends to third parties (not to us)
To work, the Extension connects your server directly to the services you configure, using your own accounts and keys:
- The AI provider you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or xAI): it receives your prompts and the content of the articles used to write each post, and generates text and images;
- X: it receives the posts and images you publish through the X API, under your developer account;
- Your WordPress sites: the Extension reads your articles and featured images.
These transfers happen on your behalf and are governed by your own agreements with those providers and by their privacy policies, which we do not control. Please review them, including whether a provider may keep or use data sent through its API. If your articles or prompts include personal data about other people, you are responsible for having a legal basis to process and publish it.
5. How we use your data, and why
- To sell and deliver your license — issue your license key, manage your subscription, renewals and cancellations. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To validate trials and licenses — confirm that a license is valid, keep each license to one server, and prevent abuse such as repeated trials or shared keys. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in protecting our software.
- To provide support — answer questions, fix bugs and move licenses between servers when you ask. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in helping our users.
- To send service emails — your license key, receipts, renewal and failed-payment notices, security alerts and important changes to these policies or our terms. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To improve the Extension using aggregated figures, such as the number of active trials and licenses, that do not identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- To protect our rights — prevent fraud and handle disputes or legal claims. Legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation.
- To send product news or offers, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: consent.
Apart from the automatic check of whether a trial or license is valid, we do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.
6. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the Extension, and only as far as they need it:
- Kunfupay — processes payments and subscriptions. Depending on your location, it may act as the seller of record, issuing the invoice and collecting applicable taxes. It processes your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Hosting — our website and license server are hosted by Namecheap, Inc., with servers in the United States.
- Email providers — to send license keys and service emails and to receive your support requests.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of startandpower, our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will keep applying to your data until you are told otherwise.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in US state privacy laws. We have not done so in the past 12 months.
7. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and the data we collect is processed mainly in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your data is transferred to the US. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the transfer being necessary to perform our contract with you.
8. How long we keep your data
- License and subscription records: while your trial or license is active and for up to 3 years after it ends, so we can reactivate or move your license and handle any dispute.
- Trial records (server identifier and dates): up to 3 years after the trial ends, to prevent repeated trials on the same server.
- Invoices and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 7 years.
- License server logs (IP address and time of each check): up to 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate abuse or a security incident.
- Support messages: up to 2 years after your request is closed.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
When we no longer need data, we delete it or anonymize it.
9. Security
License checks and purchases travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS). License records are kept on access-controlled systems, available only to the people who need them to provide the service. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
You are responsible for the security of your own server and Plesk installation, for keeping them updated, and for keeping your license key confidential.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data, unless we must keep it, for example for tax purposes;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- restrict or object to certain uses of your data;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
United States residents. If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the rights listed above as your state’s law provides. You also have the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and profiling. We do none of these things, and we do not collect sensitive personal information. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request where the law requires it. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of their authority. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will answer within the time your state’s law requires, and if you disagree with the outcome you can contact your state Attorney General.
EEA, UK and Swiss residents. You have the rights given by the GDPR and similar laws. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe the infringement happened.
How to exercise your rights. Email support@startandpower.com with the subject “Privacy request”, preferably from the email address you used to buy your license. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm your identity, for example with your license key. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally 30 to 45 days, and free of charge.
For the data stored on your server (Section 3), you can exercise control directly: you can view, change or delete it from the Extension or your server at any time.
11. Children
The Extension is a professional tool for people aged 18 or over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, including children under 13. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The latest version will always be on this page, with its date at the top. If we make material changes, we will notify active license holders by email before they take effect.
13. Language
This policy is written in English. Translations are provided for convenience; if there is a conflict, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
