Personally I think not, since there are many variables, apart from intelligence, that allow a person to achieve their goals. However, I believe that if we knew how to develop the intellect, the probability of getting where we want would increase.

But neuroscientist Sandra Chapman, founder and director of the Center for Brain Health BrainHealth and author of the book make your brain smarterafter more than 30 years studying the brain, shares some tips that will slow the aging of the brain and will allow you to understand how to develop your intellect and also reach your potential:

1. The brain power of nothing.
our brain needs of rest to be able to have moments of brilliance. So Dr. Champan recommends getting away from the desk or from the activity we are doing for 5 minutes, at least 5 times a day.

2. The brain power of one.
To understand how to develop the intellect, we must learn the following: Trying to do many things at the same time only guarantees that we will do many things wrong.

“If you’re hunting elephants, don’t get distracted by chasing rabbits, catching them will take all day,” says Chapman.

4. The brain power of the deep (Requires more effort).
It is important to develop the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into smaller, easier-to-remember packages. So that they can merge with the knowledge we already have and develop new connections.
