#1 Prepare a script
In the video world we call it script and it is a guide of what you have to say or show in the video. It doesn’t have to be super detailed, but it does have to include the full story they want to tell and the approximate duration times.

#2 Light, camera, sound…and action!
It is key that before you start filming you prepare your set. That is, check the lighting, if it will be natural, stand near a window, otherwise, place the lights so that they illuminate you well; check that you have everything you need; keep your device’s charger handy to recharge it if necessary.
We also recommend that you check the ambient sound (try to make it as quiet as possible) and that the microphone you are going to use records well. Take a tech test of all this before you start! All these details make the difference.
#3 Rule of three thirds
The most important videomakers use the rule of three thirds to achieve harmonic images. The trick is to divide the screen in three, horizontally and vertically, and place the person who is going to be speaking (or the node of the action that we want to show) on one of the points of intersection of the lines. #4 Record videos in landscape format
Doing it this way allows you to enlarge the plane and have more flexibility if you later want to adapt the video to different formats and sizes of each social network.
On the other hand, keep the focus adjusted to make the image look good. Many devices have the option autofocus. Finally, make sure that the device with which you film remains stable and fixed. A tripod can be of great help for the latter.
#5 Take your time for post-production
Video editing is something that requires time and practice. Choose the planes well, make the transitions that are necessary and, perhaps, put music or text inserts; they are all optional that can make a difference to your video to make it more professional.
